I can’t stop thinking of pretzels. That’s right, we’re in the home of Snyder’s Pretzels! OK, damn, I actually just learned they are from Hanover, Pennsylvania, not Hannover, Germany. Whatever.
Anyway, we ARE in the home town of our photographer Michael Wallmüller. If you’ve seen any decent pictures from the Backstreet Boys tour, he probably took them. He’s been great on the tour, bringing a passion to photography and willingness to come along for this crazy whirlwind. I imagine if I were him, this would be nothing like what I was told! I’d turn into a diva in a hurry! 😀
You can tell the tour is reaching the later third as the weather is warming up, the grass is green, people are out. Hannover is another beautiful city, with my favorite part of the drive along the waterway through town. On top of the scenery, the Hotel Mercure hooked us up in the city so we are looking forward to a decent rest. In some of the pictures we are all looking a little…well…haggard. We are limping into spring, but numb to the travel.
Fortunately the crowd in Hannover was HUGE and welcoming. We signed a bunch of autographs tonight and bounced for the hotel for rest.
