Back in Germany! It’s almost like hanging out at a friend’s house now, after spending a lot of time at Europa Park. We speak a little bit of Deutsch and know the German audiences better than most other places.
This particular show had particular interest for me. It’s March 17, or Saint Patrick’s Day. This was my grandfather’s birthday. His name was Patrick, his hair was red, he wore green, he drank beer like and Irishman. He was 100% German! He was also the only singer I knew in the family and was a big reason I sing now. So the show in Oberhausen, at least for me, was for Patrick Huber.
It went off too, and we got a few beers (after all it’s Germany and we performed at the König Pilsner Arena). But we left a little early today (no autographs tonight) due to scheduling to get ready for our trip to Paris.
